On November 28th at 11:00 a.m., Reston Town Center will be transformed into a true Christmas fairytale. A bright and heartwarming holiday parade will sweep down Market Street, featuring theatrical performances, sparkling floats, marching bands, and cheerful characters in colorful costumes. The air will be filled with the aroma of hot chocolate, the laughter of children, and the music of the winter holidays – an unforgettable atmosphere.
The highlight of the day will be the festive lighting of the main New Year’s tree, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thousands of lights will flash simultaneously, illuminating the city center with a warm golden glow and ushering in an evening of festive entertainment featuring live performances, interactive shows, and surprises for the whole family.
After the ceremony, guests will be able to continue their magical journey: skate on the ice rink, take a miniature train through the Christmas village, ride through the streets in decorated horse-drawn carriages, take atmospheric photos under the decorations, and visit cozy holiday markets. And, of course, children will be delighted to meet the long-awaited Santa, who will arrive especially to wish everyone a happy holiday.
