Sportrock Climbing Centers remains one of the leading rock climbing centers in Northern Virginia for both kids and experienced athletes. Founded in 1994, it pioneered the sport of rock climbing and today boasts several state-of-the-art facilities in Alexandria, Sterling, and Gaithersburg.

Personally, I took my child to a climbing wall when he was six. It was fun, and we had a great time together. We didn’t attend group classes or train regularly, but we would occasionally come in the fall and winter to have fun in a safe environment and keep our muscles toned.
I love this place because it’s a modern sports ground and an active community where events, contests, and competitions are held. It really brings kids together, motivates them to exercise and improve themselves. It also sets a good example of leading a healthy lifestyle, being cheerful, and being curious.
