The history of Walt Disney World in Florida begins in 1971, when Walt Disney realized his dream of building not just a park, like in California, but an entire world where cartoons would come to life and adults could feel like children again.
The first attraction was Magic Kingdom, and from that moment, Walt Disney World began to grow and transform into a vast, fantastical resort where fairy tales came true and cartoon, film, and fantasy characters could be seen in person. Over time, EPCOT (dedicated to the future and cultures of different countries), Hollywood Studios (an atmosphere reminiscent of films and shows), and Animal Kingdom (about animals and nature) emerged. Today, it’s a veritable amusement park with hotels, restaurants, shopping streets, and a transportation system.
Entering Disney World, you immediately feel an atmosphere of joy and festive spirit. This bright and warm fantasy world envelops both adults and children. Every detail contributes to the atmosphere: the music, the staff’s costumes, the street decorations, and the smell of baked goods and popcorn. Here, adults can allow themselves to be children, and children can feel their favorite stories come to life.
