Notaviva Farm Brewery & Winery is an emotional bridge between music and soul. The name comes from the Italian words Nota (musical note) and Viva (with life), which together symbolize the “Life of Music” and its profound impact on the human senses.
Founded in 2008, the craft farm winery is located on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains, near the Appalachian Trail in Northern Virginia. Its philosophy is appealing in its desire to convey the feelings that music evokes. Notaviva’s flavors are based on synesthesia – when color, rhythm, and emotion become aroma, taste, and texture.
